Starting Monday, October 27th,the Vietnamese Cuisine Fair is being held at the Joya student cafeteria to celebrate the Lantern Festival in Vietnam's ancient city of Hoi An. This special event features a menu of Vietnamese local food, tasted and checked by Vietnamese exchange students.

Week 1 (October 27–31) featured “Pho,” Vietnam's local rice noodle soup, as the weekly special. Topped with chicken, this noodle soup dish offers a light yet rich flavor that was popular with many students.
Week 2 (November 4–10) featured Vietnam's popular sandwich, “Bánh Mì.” This dish consists of seasoned meat, cucumber, pâté, and plenty of vegetables sandwiched between a crispy-baked baguette.

Additionally, on Tuesday, November 11th, the HUE International Festival “Hoi An Lantern Festival,” organized by international students from Vietnam, was held at the café space on the 5th floor of Meitokukan. The students introduced the traditions of Hoi An and the charm of the Lantern Festival, sharing stories about the beautiful local culture and scenery.
This fair offered a unique cultural experience, allowing students who were listening to feel Vietnam up close through both taste and sight.

The Center for International Education Exchange will continue to expand the circle of international exchange through events introducing the traditional cultures of international students' home countries.
