2025 Cross-Cultural Study Tour to the National Bihoku Hillside Park

On May 10th, Cross-Cultural Study Tour was held at the National Bihoku Hillside Park in Shobara City, Hiroshima Prefecture. The purpose of this study tour is for international students to deepen their understanding of Japanese culture, traditions, and local specialties.

A total of 61 people participated in this event, including 20 Short-Term Exchange students exchange students from France, Germany, Poland, Korea, Cambodia, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam, 22 full-time international students from Vietnam, China, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Bangladesh, and 19 Japanese students.

In the morning, participants experienced “herb dyeing,” and the international students were fascinated by the gentle colors of nature and traditional Japanese craftsmanship. In the afternoon, the students enjoyed the flower fields and natural scenery of the national park. It was an excellent opportunity for international and Japanese students to interact and deepen their friendship.

It was a memorable and educational day for the students. Hiroshima University of Economics will continue to support the growth and expansion of each student's international perspective.
