On Monday, March 24, Hiroshima University of Economics concluded an agreement with Trent University, Canada for faculty research exchange, joint research and student exchange. Since the opening of the Honorary Consulate of Canada in Hiroshima, this is the second agreement with a university in Canada, following the University of British Columbia.
The intention of this agreement is not only to promote faculty research exchanges, but to promote HUE students to participate in future English-language study abroad programs at Tent University as well as to have Trent University students come to HUE to study in its Short-Term Exchange Program.
HUE is keen in expanding its overseas partner universities, including those in Canada, to enhance its student exchange programs.
