The second “International Experiences with Picture Books and Nursery Rhymes” was held on January 11.

Julia Dorota Chudecka, a short-term exchange student from Poland, read picture books in Polish to the 41 children. The children's eyes lit up as they heard the Polish language for the first time.
One of the books Julia read to the children was “Turnip,” a familiar story in Japan. However, the children were surprised when they realized that there were differences between the animals in the Polish version and Japanese version.
She also taught the children a popular dance done by the Polish children, which they enjoyed together.
Through this intercultural experience, the children were able to gain new perspectives.
