President Yuko Ishida was appointed by the Canadian Government as the Honorary Consul for Canada in Hiroshima. Accordingly, the Honorary Consulate of Canada in Hiroshima was established on campus. The university is committed to the promotion and strengthening of the friendly relationship between Japan and Canada and will continue to contribute to the development of the region.

2) Promote and support economic and cultural exchanges between Canada and its jurisdictions
3) Support for activities on official visits by Canadian dignitaries
