On February 1, 2008, the Completion Ceremony for the Short-Term Exchange Program and
the Daegu Local Semester Program was held in the Conference Room on campus.

16 exchange students from China, France, Germany, Indonesia, Korea, Poland, Portugal,
and Russia participated in and completed the 2007 Fall/Winter Semester. President Ishida presented the participants with a Certificate of Completion.

As a highlight to the ceremony, the international students gave speeches on their life and experiences in Hiroshima in Japanese.
